Showering Yourself in Comfort: Choosing a Showerhead

Richard and Martha Jessup of Glen Burnie in Howard County Maryland have recently decided to remodel their bathroom. Both Mr. and Mrs. Jessup have had their fair share of health issues over the span of the last year. Richard recently had his right knee replaced and has gone through extensive physical therapy. Martha is suffering from lower back pain and frequent back spasms. Amongst all of the health concerns, the couple still remains extremely active. After a long day the Jessups look forward to quality rest and relaxation. They occupy a one-story cottage with a layout that has proven almost ideal in their older age. The only room in their home that they have taken issue with is their bathroom. Due to issues with his knee, Richard is finding it hard to stand for a prolonged period of time in the shower. Martha on the other hand is looking for a shower that will prove to be therapeutic for her back. In the past the couple has purchased handles, grips, and pads from the local Laurel hardware store to try and make their bathroom more safe, accessible, and comfortable. These remedies seem to be only temporary. Lucky for them, WW Bath specializes in handicap access advice and products and provides complete bathroom remodeling to the residents of Glen Burnie, MD, Columbia MD, Laurel, MD, Pasadena, MD along with Washington DC and the DC suburbs including Chevy Chase MD, Silver Spring, MD and Potomac Maryland.

For the Jessups the staff at WW Bath has recommended the revolutionary walk-in bath. The walk-in bath eliminates the need to step over and in to the tub or shower. A watertight door has been installed to make entering and exiting the tub easy as 1,2,3. Since many of these baths are built with the elderly or handicapped in mind most of the models come with built in seating. Both Richard and Martha can benefit from the seating in the bath. Jets can also be installed to create a "Jacuzzi-like" effect. The jets are traditionally installed in the seating and offer great hydrotherapy where you need it.

The Jessups have also asked us to widen the door to their bathroom as well as install a sink that can be more accessible. This has been done in anticipation for the need of wheelchair accessibility sometime in the future. Gone are the days of ugly, bland, and bulky handicap products. WW Bath offers a vast array of products to fit your desired style, personality, or preference. We offer a total "turn-key solution", from the design of your bathroom through installation.
